AXI International Water Separator Vessels, for Fast Water Removal from Fuel Oils

A majority of fuel contamination can be traced back to the introduction of water into the fuel supply. By removing water from the fuel, the opportunity for rampant microbial growth and the consequential contamination is greatly reduced. AXI’s mechanical water separators centrifugally remove free water from the passing fuel, allowing the heavier water to fall to the bottom of the unit while the lighter fuel passes on through the filtration vessel.

It is essential that the coalescer is run at or below the specified optimum flow rate, as if the flow rate is too great then the turbulence will mix up all the water and flush it straight through the unit.

Water is drained from the system via the tap in the bottom.
