Marsh Viscosity Funnel

Viscosity and gel strength are measurements that relate to the flow properties of fluids.

The 'Marsh Viscosity Funnel' AKA 'Marsh Funnel Viscometer' has been used for many years to obtain an indication of the relative viscosity of drilling fluids.

It is calibrated to outflow one quart (946ml) of fresh water at a temperature of 70 ± 5°F (21 ± 3°C) in 26 ± 0.5 seconds.

The funnel is moulded from tough, durable plastic that is resistant to breaking and cracking. It is constructed with a brass lined orifice that assures consistency in all readings and a plastic outer handle to protect the user’s hands.
