ECB
The Economic Carbon Block (EBC) manufactered from large particles is an ideal choice for use within a wide range of industrial water applications, such as organic removal, plating solutions and batch processors where the life of the carbon is never fully used.
SCB
The SPECTRUM Standard Carbon Block (SCB) is WRAS approved and tested to the British Standard BS6920. Manufactered using power activated carbon particles which significantly increases its active surface area, extending its life and improving chlorine reduction capabilites over the ECB.

When replacing elements in filter housings with screw-on bowls we always recommend the use of Silicon O Ring Grease to aid tightening of the bowl, preventing pinching & scuffing and thus prolonging the life of the O Ring
