UK Sampling Gauges Ltd, MK 1D Winder was developed in order to meet the need for lifting and lowering the heavier samplers. The design includes a reduction gear drive between the winding handle and the reel, to reduce the effort required by the operator. It is equipped with up to 100m stainless steel cable.
- Includes a reduction gear drive between the winding handle and the reel, to reduce the effort required by the operator.
- Includes a new auto-lock winding handle, for added safety.
- Includes a cable wiper, to wipe liquid from the cable as it is retracted.
- Includes a mechanically-driven depth counter, to enable the operator to see the depth of the sampler at all times.
- The flexible cable is of stainless steel, avoiding the contamination that can occur with ropes and chains
- The special hook minimises the risk of a sampler becoming detached from the winder.
- The hook and cable, together with the winder’s earthing strap, ensure electrical continuity and prevent the build-up of static electricity in the sampling system.
- Complete with support leg.
