W L Hamilton, Pressure Relief Valve, Adjustable 0-300PSI, Brass, BSP
Popular for use on ring mains for heating oil burners where a line pressure needs to be maintained upstream of Pressure Regulating Valves at the burner entry points. The valves are adjustable from zero up to 13.75 or 27.50 Bar, though we recommend a minimum line pressure requirement of 0.5 Bar or greater, as the valve will oscillate (make noise) at very low pressures when the spring becomes "wobbly", when the spring is under tension the oscillation will not occur.
Specification of the valves we offer differs from the standard product specification on the W.L.Hamilton datasheet attached.
