Elaflex ZH 50 & ZH 550, Manual Dispensing Nozzles
High performance, manual dispensing nozzles for Diesel, heating oil, viscous gear and motor oils, max flow rate 450 litres/ min. Max working pressure 10 bar.
Tankers supplying diesel or fuel oil usually are equipped with reel hoses and non-automatic nozzles, e.g. ZV 400 / ZV 500 or ZH 35 / ZH 50 / ZH 550. Overfilling is prevented not by the nozzle, but by an electrical overfill prevention system with limit value switch. In some countries, for the filling of above ground storage tanks up to 1000 litres (e.g. at construction sites) no overfill protection is used, therefore refuelling is effected with a type approved automatic nozzle, e. g. ZVA 32. So far, the requirement to change between non-automatic and automatic nozzles meant the need of a second hose reel on the road tanker, however by using 'NATO STANAG 3756' Dry Disconnect Couplings, a switch between non-automatic and automatic nozzles is possible, using only one hose reel. Both nozzles are equipped with a 'Tank Unit', and the corresponding 'Hose Unit' is attached to the reel hose. For refuelling, the required nozzle is easily coupled to the hose. - Ball valve type nozzle with check valve for wet hose delivery, progressively adjustable notch lever.
- Body and spout: Aluminium.
- Inner parts: Stainless steel, aluminium and acetal resin.
- Hose inlet: Fixed male, or 'DG' swivel male / female.
- Spout Coupling: 'TW' Art. MK 50: Brass, or Fixed Spout.
- Seals: Nitrile & PU.
- With un-breakable sight glass, (not suitable for alcholic fluids), alternatively, natural sight glass EG 466 available.
