A polypropylene neck ring, offering broad chemical resistance, is becoming the new standard replacing the galvanised carbon steel ring of old. The ring, which is sewn into the media forms a bag opening with the seam similarly stitched, creating a strong product capable of high flow and high dirt holding. Where the polypropylene ring is unsuitable for the application, a 304 stainless steel ring is available. A single fabric hande across the diamater of the opening aids removal.
When replacing elements in filter housings with screw-on bowls we always recommend the use of Silicon O Ring Grease to aid tightening of the bowl, preventing pinching & scuffing and thus prolonging the life of the O Ring
