Pressure & Vacuum Conservation Valve with Flame Arrester, for Diesel & Petrol Fuel Tanks, ATEX
This anodised-aluminium Conservation Valve with integrated Flame Arrester has an integrated poppet valve designed to prevent fuel vapours from escaping under normal operating conditions, this preserves the contents of the tank from evaporation to atmosphere, whilst protecting the tank from extremes of pressure / vacuum, the valve also protects the tank from excess contamination by moisture vapour ingress which would otherwise enter the tank freely and condense internally, leading to water in fuel and associated problems such as fuel bug.
This valve is fitted on top of risers on stage 1B vapour recovery systems, and on static fuel tanks.
